Pregnancy is that amazing time in your life where you are experiencing the unique and incredible process of a new life developing inside of you. You don’t know your little one yet but you can feel them and you already love them endlessly. It’s a time so unique it will never repeat itself – only in different ways if you are having more than one child – and it represents the very first contact, the very first bond with your baby. Even if you are not carrying the baby or you adopted, there is no difference, the maternity shoot can still take place in a different way and it will capture the amazing experience of becoming the parent to your child.

A maternity shoot is a way to capture and immortalise this experience. It’s not just a series of portraits to show your baby bump – or it can be if that’s what you desire! – but a representation of your feelings and emotions during this process, a way for you to be able to look back on that time of your life and one day even show your children and grandchildren. My aim is to work with you to understand your emotions and what defines you as a person, together we will create photography that reflects your journey to become a parent.
