I'm so thrilled to share these images! Last week I travelled to Whitby to meet Ruth who is pregnant with her first child. We planned a beach maternity shoot but we weren't sure about how it would turn out being early March.
We knew how unpredictable the British weather is, especially at this time of the year. We arranged to shoot at sunrise but of course the sun was nowhere to be seen due to a thick cloud cover - but hey, at least it didn't rain? Turns out we didn't need the sun after all, the beach is so wild and beautiful and we had the company of Ruth's pup, border collie Scamp!
This photoshoot was so spontaneous, sweet and relaxed. We were pretty much the only ones on this massive beach and playing with the dog made the experience so fun. I wish you all the best with the end of your pregnancy Ruth and the arrival of your little one!
