35mm & 120 FILM PHOTOGRAPHER

I’m a documentary and film photographer based between the UK and Italy, working internationally across weddings, travel, hospitality, brands and editorial projects. Working primarily with 35mm and 120 film, I’m interested in photographs that tell a story, images shaped by people, atmosphere, light and a strong sense of place. My approach is slow and observant, allowing moments to unfold naturally rather than relying on constant direction.

My background in journalism has always influenced the way I photograph. I’m drawn to real stories, human connection and the small details that reveal something about a person or a place. Before becoming a full-time photographer, I studied International Journalism and spent years travelling, photographing wildlife, landscapes and people across different cultures. It was through those experiences that I developed a documentary approach and a fascination with the relationship between people and their environments.

Today, that same approach runs through everything I photograph. I document weddings with an emphasis on genuine moments, thoughtful portraiture and the atmosphere of the day, while my travel and editorial work explores landscapes, architecture, food, culture and the people who bring a place to life.

I also work with hospitality brands, hotels and creative businesses looking for photography with a sense of story and place, imagery that feels considered and lived-in rather than overly staged. Whether photographing an intimate destination wedding, a remote landscape, a beautiful hotel or a brand rooted in a particular culture, I’m always looking for the same thing: the details, people and moments that make it feel unique.

Based between two countries I’m fortunate to call home, I regularly travel throughout Europe and internationally for commissions. Italy remains an important part of my life and work, while my love of travel continues to take me to new places, cultures and environments around the world.

Film photography is at the heart of my practice. I love the patience it demands, the way it responds to light, and the imperfections and depth that make each frame feel tangible. More than an aesthetic, though, shooting film encourages me to slow down, pay attention and be present which is something I believe comes through in the photographs themselves.

My work is ultimately about people, places and presence: creating honest, atmospheric imagery that feels connected to its surroundings and still has something to say long after the moment has passed.
